Literature Text

Havoc fizzing inconspicuously in a can of Cherry Coke,
They sit in a parking lot, thirty dollars broke.
Humming to the tune of Bohemian Rhapsody,
in a black Trans Am, in the apple core of this suburbanite dream.

Half empty box of Lucky Strikes sleeping on the floor;
and a set of fuzzy dice watching over her.
80 miles an hour, keeping up the pace,
a boy in Wisconsin has a picture of her face.
She said she'd be there about half past eight,
so silently he blows smoke rings while he patiently waits.

Quarter till nine, she reaches his front door.
They greet eachother slightly, until she implores.
"I have quite a surprise for you," she slyly addressed.
Slowly, she showed him to the car, smiling at her best.

She opened the trunk, and pulled out a device.
He hesitated a bit, and said, "Oh, that looks nice."
Atop it, a red button brightly adorned,
but the truth beneath it rapidly was born.

"I know how to prove everything which is right."
He didn't understand, but listened with all his might.
"Tonight you must kiss me, and the truth will unfurl...
and in mid-moment, we will end the world."

The boy was apprehensive, but loved her with all his heart.
So, if this is what he must do, it might as well be a start.
He quietly agreed, and so they plotted their plan.
They would be the reason the world would see its end.

11:59, the clock read in neon green.
The last minute drew near, the couple sinfully keen.
And at the last moment, stuck in imaginary mire,
they took their last kiss, and set the world afire.
The people that are portrayed in this know who they are, so there's no need for some long drawn out description, just know it's for you, and I hope you like it. It was a blast to write :).
